Mizz Korea, a Korean American skincare brand, aimed to launch its first-ever NYC experience called the Grocery Mart to build brand awareness, attract new customers, and generate social buzz. A two-day retail pop-up in Soho, designed to immerse skincare lovers in the brand including vibrant décor featuring key product ingredients, a photo booth and Korean snacks. Guests could sample products in person—an exclusive opportunity for a brand sold solely online—and were encouraged to purchase with gifts like snacks, drinks, and scratch-off tickets for product prizes. Guests praised the brand’s aesthetic and storytelling, many requesting a permanent store—cementing Mizz Korea as an emerging brand to watch in skincare.
